It had been a while since I had gone to this event, so it was nice to experience it again. Hear the sounds of the powerful Merlins and Pratt&Whitneys, eat the greasy food and experience Virginia Street. I went with Knud we drove up Saturday afternoon and stayed at the Siena Hotel. There weren't as many people as in the past (might have something to do with the accident last year). Having a little more room to move your arms around wasn't bad though. The event was still well attended. We got out to the airport Sunday morning and stayed through the Unlimited race, which Strega won in impressive style.
